2. New work group for PLCopen Training Guidelines

As an independent non-profit organization PLCopen does not provide hands-on training courses on IEC 61131-3.  However, to guide potential users to relevant IEC 61131-3 courses including the concepts and languages, PLCopen defined training guidelines. This document specifies the basic requirements for a PLCopen certified training course on IEC 61131-3.

In the beginning of this year the 4th Edition of the IEC 61131-3 standard will be released. Time to update the PLCopen training guidelines to comply with the new version of the IEC standard. We hope to finalize this update in the coming months.

For all certified training centers and all interested parties, we invite you to join our work group. Please send an email to roeland@plcopen.org if you are interested in joining, or looking for more details. You will find more information on our training guidelines on the PLCopen website.
