PLCopen is updating the interface of Motion Control Part 4 - Coordinated Motion
PLCopen now released version 1.0 of the "PLCopen Guidelines for usage of Object-Oriented Programming"
In June PLCopen had a very successful virtual annual General Meeting. Part of the meeting related to elections in the Board of Management.
The 3rd edition of the IEC 61131-3 standard enables Object Oriented Programming, OOP.
InTech Magazine, the official publication of the International Society of Automation (ISA) published a cover article on PLCopen Motion Control in their April issue.
To make the abundant PLCopen information also available in video format, aimed at a different audience also, PLCopen has started a YouTube channel.
On June 23, PLCopen had a very successful annual General Meeting. In view of the situation around COVID-19 it was decided to organize a virtual GM this year.
PLCopen now released version 2.01 of the Safety Part 1 specification, based on the feedback and resulting corrigendum on version 2.0.
